Chughtai Public Library is a humble effort to collect, organizes, preserve, and make available to the yearning, un affording common man every source of pure knowledge. It is a resource of antique and contemporary books and journals covering a wide range of subjects including art, culture, science, education, jurisprudence, medicine, and philosophy. It collects under one roof information on every subject it is a nonprofit organization. The main objective of which is to establish a center where students and aspiring scholars of all ages and disciplines from every walk of life and every stratum of society can find an opportunity to learn and carry out research.
CPL is offering FREE Membership to everyone.
CPL provides the latest information to its users through purchasing new & updated editions of books. Every CSS users have a right to purchase a maximum of two titles on his/her demand in a month.
The Library provides reference and research assistance to students, researchers. Professional librarians are available to provide advice either at the Help Desk or via email at info@cplpk.org
Library’s Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) allows easy and quick searching.
CPL OPAC is accessible at any time and anywhere for users to locate books and other materials available in the Library. The library catalog is searched by author, title, Subject, keyword, and Call number.
Children Section:
The Children’s Section provides educational, recreational, and cultural resources for children aged 6 to 14. It has a large collection of picture books, Educational & storybooks, nonfictional books, and multimedia materials.
The main objective is to develop children’s reading, research, and creativity skills through different programs and activities. In addition to the reading area, the CH has a computer lab, an activity room, a storytelling and puppet show corner, and a multimedia corner.
