Books Digitization Project

Chughtai Public Library is one of the largest library digitization projects in Pakistan. The goal of CPL digitization is to create a unique collection of books, especially of historical importance, accessible electronically and without charge to scholars around the world. 

Chughtai Public Library is setting up a mass collection of both antique and current books with the latest scanning and digitization equipment. CPL's Digitization Department has almost 15,000 books already scanned and accessible to the public. Our digital collections feature a wide range, including rare and archival material that is older than 200 years to newly published books (with copyright permission).
